2021 MMI Tip Off Basketball Tournament Coming November 5-6!

On November 5th and 6th, 2021, The Centers For Advanced Orthopaedics- MMI Division sponsors the annual Tip Off Tournament at Hood College. This two-day tournament is taking place at the BB&T Volpe Athletics Center at 401 Rosemont Ave, in Frederick, on the Hood College campus. The competing teams will be Hood, Carnegie Melon, Wilson and Randolph Macon. This exciting event is free for all Hood College Students and children under the age of 6.

 On Friday, November 5th, the games will be held at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The 5:00 pm game will be Carnegie Melon versus Randolph Macon and the 7:00 pm game will be Hood versus Wilson. On Saturday, November 6th, the consolation game will be held at 12:00 pm and the championship game will be at 2:00 pm.

 Join us for a fun-filled two day event featuring basketball, contests, and an appearance by the Frederick Keys Keyote. Come out and meet our Sports Medicine Specialist, Dr. Matthew Jepson, M.D. He will be there to help the athletes with any orthopedic related needs during the event.
