Laura S. Copaken, MD
Pediatric Orthopaedist
Dr. Laura Copaken is a graduate of the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine and is board certified in orthopaedic surgery. She completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine where she practiced at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital and the St. Louis Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
Dr. Copaken is a native Marylander. She has special training and expertise in treating adolescent and pediatric fractures and sports injuries as well as congenital disorders. A member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, she is licensed to practice in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Missouri and the District of Columbia. While Dr. Copaken treats orthopaedic problems in patients of all ages, she is particularly interested in treating children.
