Jeffrey T. Gilsdorf, MD
Sports Medicine Specialist
Dr. Gilsdorf is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and has completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic, University of Tennessee. He has been in private practice in the Frederick area since 1996.
His practice encompasses general orthopaedic surgery, but he is particularly interested in caring for athletes of all ages and skill levels. Dr. Gilsdorf has worked as the Team Physician for the Knoxville Smokies professional baseball team, the Knoxville Cherokees professional hockey team, and is currently a Team Physician for the Frederick Keys, the Carolina League Affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles. He also serves as a Team Physician for Linganore High School and Hood College.
Dr. Gilsdorf received his MD and completed his general surgery and orthopaedic surgery residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians.
