Damian Roussel, DPM
Foot & Ankle Specialist
Dr. Roussel is board qualified in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and specializes in foot and ankle care and surgery. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed a four year foot, ankle, and lower leg reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania. He has specialized training in ankle joint replacement using the S.T.A.R. (Scandinavian Total Ankle Replacement). He serves as a peer review editor for the Adult Reconstruction and Rearfoot and Ankle Trauma sections of the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery. Dr. Roussel has extensive teaching experience, including instructing surgical workshops and presenting lectures to various groups regarding foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Roussel is very active in the medical community. He also serves as team physician for the Frederick Keys (the Carolina League Affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles), Thomas Johnson High School, Urbana High School, and Hood College.
