Physician Assistant

Doug attended Lock Haven University where he received a Master’s Degree in Health Sciences/Physician Assistant Studies. He is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. Doug works closely with Dr. James Steinberg who specializes in sports medicine, total joint replacement, and general orthopaedics.

Doug is affiliated with many professional organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery, Maryland Society of Physician Assistants and is a volunteer for the State of Maryland Emergency/ Disaster Relief Task Force.

Doug’s athletic experiences as a player and coach at one of Pennsylvania’s perennial high school football powers, as well as being a highly recruited baseball player, have been valuable assets in his clinical practice as a sports medicine practitioner.
